| Founded by Calvin Price , Principal Trumpet of the San Diego Symphony, Helix Brass is comprised of Southern California’s most accomplished brass players. These fine artists can be heard regularly performing as Principals and members of the San Diego Symphony, Pacific Symphony, and the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra. Some have been members of major American, European and South American orchestras, such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Mexico City Symphony Orchestra and the RAI Symphony Orchestra of Turin, Italy and many have performed with the Boston Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony and Seattle Symphony, to name a few.
